Draped in lemon

Three weekends ago, my friend Hafsatu got married! It was a four day event, I met lovely people, learned so much about hausa weddings, and...ooooh, I got my henna done.

Wore this ensemble to dinner on the first day (Kamu) which took place at BMO.

I loved my henna so much, my rimmel riviera red nail polish added a nice touch and I couldn't stop flaunting my hands... graciously. :p

It was a terrific night!

Interesting rites, delightful food, dancers were very entertaining, female mc was on point, fruit punch flowed, ribs cracked, and amid bittersweet tears, we limpopoed the night away.

Big congrats to Hafsy and Faisal!

xoxo
