"You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and unjust."

"The Lord is compassionate and gracious."

Happy Sunday guys. :) Hope you had a nice weekend.  Today, God is calling us to abandon the life of sin, embrace the life of holiness and love our fellow human beings just as he loves us. Every so often we find it hard to forgive, let go and let God, we harbour hatred and bitterness in our hearts, we rejoice when we see a brother or sister stumbling and falling instead of giving a helping hand, we bear grudges, we judge, we gossip, we try to make people look bad in the eyes of others...and the list goes on.

We live in a world filled with temptations and distractions that make it very difficult to follow the precepts of the Lord. Imagine trying to forgive your enemies, let alone praying for them. It's hard, very hard. But how can we be forgiven by God if we don't forgive our brothers and sisters? We often forget that bit, right? But hey! Nothing is impossible with God. Let us ask him to help us. We occupy a special place in his heart and he is ever willing to grant us the grace to lead a godly life.

"Lord Jesus, please help me to forgive, rather than condemn; to love, rather than criticise; to care beyond what I think is expected of me. In this way, I will grow in my love for you and my neighbour. Amen

Here's a song I love so much!

Have a blessed week!
