Sunday Tonic!

Happy Sunday mi lovelies!

Readings of the day
1 Samuel 16:1, 6-7, 10-13
Psalm 23
Ephesians 5:8-14
John 9:1-41

4 lessons from today's readings
*People judge by what is on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. It is imperative that we cultivate a beautiful heart.
*Always call upon the Lord for he is your shepherd, your provider, your protector, and your preserver.
*Take no part in the works of darkness, try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord, and walk as children of light.
*The importance of spiritual 'sight' cannot be overemphasised. Those who lack it will always find themselves in a muddle and those who have it will have the light of faith to be able to see the will of God in their lives.

Prayer is the key!

May God grant us fulll sight.

Today is Mother's day. I am so thankful for my Mother, she is my rock, my backbone, my love, my prayer partner, my destiny helper, my bestie, my favourite girl. Tried composing a text message to her this morning and my eyes kept welling up with tears.

The degree of love, energy, and sacrifice and ingenuity my mum keeps exhibiting is beyond description. All I can say is Chukwu biko gozie re m nne m oma.

Mama was one of the mothers that served mass today. She's been practicing for 3 weeks and she played her role to the delight of everyone. So proud of her. oh, and she looked great in her ensemble. I must say mass was very, very interesting today. :D

May God bless and provide for all the wonderful mothers out there, help those who are neglecting their motherly duties to become better mothers, strengthen, guide, and protect the motherless, and bless the childless with the fruit of the womb. Amen!

Have a beautiful week.
